We don’t ask our property managers to manage hundreds of properties. Instead, smaller, selective portfolios allow our team to devote the time you, your property, and your tenants need to be looked after well.
There's also a single point of contact – your dedicated property manager. This means you don't have to talk to five different people, from the accounts team to the facilities guy, depending on your question.
Most importantly though, we care. We care about our clients, their tenants and their properties, and helping them manage and grow their investment.

A love of property has taken Sarah throughout the industry, from managing over a hundred commercial properties across New Zealand to overseeing and coordinating multi-million dollar projects. She has a reputation for getting things done and is frequently asked to step in and turn around difficult properties, projects and consulting situations.
Other than property, the common denominator throughout her career has been people. On everything from small problems to large projects, Sarah successfully works with and builds relationships with all key people involved. She excels at looking after her clients, landlords, tenants, contractors, and staff – keeping them engaged and informed.
It is this passion for people and property that led Sarah to found Azure Property. An outlet to use her commercial property experience, varied skill set, and networks to help her clients and their tenants succeed.
Sarah also has extensive experience in retail property, including management, leasing, project management and master planning.
Sara Sheldon
Director | Property Manager
Passionate about commercial property, Sara has over 14 years’ experience in the industry.
An expert in problem solving and undertaking refurbishments, she believes in a firm but fair approach and loves building relationships with landlords and tenants alike to encourage continuity and tenant retention.
Her expertise includes portfolio management, facilities management, earthquake strengthening, and specialises in managing retail properties.
Sara started out as a Property Manager for Trust Management in 2005. She worked as an Asset Manager at Burgess Rawson in Melbourne managing 3 local shopping centres, before spending 9 years in a senior property management role working on commercial, industrial and retail properties.
Fiona Tapene
Property Manager
Fiona joins the Azure Property team with 8 years’ experience managing retail properties, including shopping centres, strip and bulk retail properties.
Passionate about retail property, she has expertise in rent and asset reviews, budget and capex plans, and overseeing refurbishment works.
Fiona has a Bachelor of Business from Massey University and a Real Estate License from the REA.
